Whether you run for pleasure, to exercise your dog, or long-distance, without the proper care, your joints will &#8220;wear and tear&#8221; more quickly. \u00a0You need more than good shoes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How does chiropractic care help runners?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Adjusting spinal subluxations balances the body at its core. \u00a0When this happens, range of motion in the joints is improved, allowing muscles to be strengthened, and increasing a runners coordination. This leads to increased endurance, speed, and enjoyment, while protecting the joints from wearing out.<\/p>\n<p>If a runner is injured, they normally heal faster because when the spine is aligned, not only do their joints and muscles respond, but so does the healing power of the body itself.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How often should a runner see a chiropractor?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>That depends on the runner. If he or she has had regular adjustments, their time between treatments might be longer. However, some people need to be adjusted more often than others.
